AUTOMATION AND PROCESS REGULATION
The system allows a constant flow rate to be maintained and number
of products to be mixed by way of regulated batching.
Recipes with their respective control parameters can be called up,
edited and put into production from a series of screen pages. The
productivity of the system is constantly monitored.
Printouts are provided of any anomalous events and alarm conditions
that may arise.

MODIFICATIONS
DURING OPERATION:
1) Modification of global flow rate parameters in the process control
page with proportional adjustment of individual flow rates. Modification
of the flow rate percentages of the individual components with automatic
adjustment of the absolute value.
2) Batch programming. From this page the operator can vary all the
modifiable parameters. The parameters assume the new values permanently
with immediate effect, even during operation.
3) Manual control page. In manual mode the operator can give pushbutton
commands to start or stop all the batching units, modify variable
settings and open valves.
OPERATIONS
The following operations can be performed: calibration, date and
time setting (for recording events), modification of parameters
relative to the acquisition of production data, system configuration
and various utility functions.
STOP COMMAND
From the control page the operator can set machine shut - down to
"end of process" or "temporary stop" modes.
An alarm condition, such as the tripping of a thermal cutout, a
blocked valve, lack of material in the hopper, flow rate out of
tolerance range, etc..., causes the machine to stop automatically
in "temporary stop" condition.
PRODUCTION REPORT
For each production cycle, report sheets are draw up for test at
normal operating speed and transitory phases, and the number of
rejects as a percentage of total production. |
